No matter how loud the Cross was, there was still an empty tomb on the third day. A lie is a lie no matter how loud.
This weekend, President Biden proclaimed Easter Sunday, March 31,2024, a day the Church worldwide set aside to celebrate the resurrection of KING JESUS CHRIST, as “Transgender Day of Visibility.”
It is not easy to miss the insult and disrespect of this move to the foundation of our faith in KING JESUSCHRIST; nevertheless, some in the Body of CHRIST will miss it. Some may consider this a positive move forward to include brothers and sisters from the transgender community into the “fold.” Some may even see this as validation for their lifestyle choices. My husband and I were on YouTube one day and came across the video of a preacher in Atlanta, Georgia, claiming to be an apostle to the LGBTQ+ community. He was flanked to his left by his husband.
Such that our faith is not discouraged, let’s read Scripture.
“So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God. Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away. But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God–[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence]. None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:5-8 AMPC
This, and all other such news we will soon hear, is fuel for “the turning.”
“If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 AMPC
The Scripture above has been quoted over and over again, but do we really know what it means? It means we, the Remnant of the BODY of CHRIST, those who believe in KING JESUS CHRIST, have to stop living double lives. It means we have to start praying, fasting, giving, voting, and living our faith in KING JESUS CHRIST out loud.
This is fuel for “the turning” of the BODY of CHRIST back to the place of unity, prayer, corporate fasting, giving, and loving JESUS everywhere. GOD is pushing us to turn.
There are many prayer movements, but are there any “living holy” movements? Are there any “radical truth-telling” movements? Are there any “radical purity” movements? Purity with our eyes, our ears, our touch, our smell, the things that enter into our minds, such that our imagination will be pure before the LORD. Or are we only concerned with the “radical giving” movements? Prayer is just the beginning; the next step is turning. This is fuel for our turning.
The HOLY SPIRIT told us during our 24-hour prayer session in March that revival would sweep through the USA. We have this promise, and we hold onto it. This, and other events to follow, are simply fuel for our turning back to GOD.
Can GOD trust you to look inwardly and submit to HOLY SPIRIT analysis to see where there is compromise in your life? Where there is a need to turn from wicked ways? Turning means you turn, your family turns, your community turns, your state turns, and then the nation will turn.
Ask the HOLY SPIRIT: What do I need to turn from and what can you use me to do to point others to YOUR turning?
Remember, no matter how loud the Cross was, there was still an empty tomb on the third day. A lie is a lie no matter how loud.

The Word of the LORD to the Body of CHRIST in America and beyond for 2024:
- The revealing of wolves in sheep’s clothing has begun. Judases will be revealed (Matthew 7:15). Those who are stains in our love feast will be revealed publicly and it will give the Church institution a bad name (Jude 12-13).
- The protection of the LORD upon HIS children requires us to be holy and separate. We must consecrate ourselves to the ONE who made us.
- Raise up prayer altars in your home and in your churches to stay inside HIM, for protection for our families and restoration for our nations.
- The LORD will begin revealing infiltration inside the Body more clearly. Don’t get swept up by the deception, the big names, the coverups, the “good thing” vs. the “GOD thing.” Don’t get carried away by news of “peace, peace” when GOD wants you to prepare for war. Ask the LORD for eyes to see in the HOLY SPIRIT.
- The LORD showed an open ancient gate. The LORD wants to reveal HIS secrets, hidden things, ancient wisdom, to us. The price for this is holiness. Don’t let your eyes be filled with entertainment when HE wants to fill it with revelation.
Psalm 75:6-7; Matthew 7:14; 1 Corinthians 16:9; Exodus 14:13-14
- In Joshua 1, the LORD tells Joshua that Moses, HIS servant, is dead. The KING is making room for new leadership in HIS KINGdom. The LORD will promote and demote as HE wills.
- There will be those who will be removed from their place because they have chosen another way, especially in areas where there have been multiple warnings, but no turning to HIM. Some will be demoted, others will fall ill, some will leave this earth.
- GOD is not allowing HIS glory to be given to another. There will be full exposure in broad daylight in the assembly.
“I am Adonai—that is My Name! My glory I will not give to another, Or My praise to graven images.” Isaiah 42:8 TLV
- The beginning of the revealing of desolation has begun.
- The current war in Israel will expand all over the world.
- Israelites will be called back to their land and there will be a call all over the world for those who will return to Israel to take up arms to defend the land.
- American influence and military will be weakened in the eyes of the world.
- Prepare for another pandemic – what will make men fear. Remnant, do not fear; only prepare.
- This warning is for the Church, HIS Bride; this warning is for every Christian.
- Beware of the idol that provokes jealousy standing at the gate of your heart.
- Beware, parents who do not train their children in the way of the LORD. Shaphan was one of the priests during King Josiah’s reign who discovered the hidden scrolls. He also worked with the prophet Jeremiah, protecting him from those who opposed the Word of the LORD. But his son ended up participating in occultic things.
- Beware, oh Bride of CHRIST. When the LORD comes to search you, may HE not find your heart longing for the ways of this world.
- Beware, oh Bride of CHRIST. Beware of the greatest abomination! There are those among us who have taken the Grace of the LORD for granted and prostituted themselves. They have turned their backs to the LORD to worship other gods – mixing JESUS and humanism, satanism, etc.
- Be careful of what you entertain. Many are entertaining false doctrines that contain mixture. They contain an element of truth so that they look good and sound good, but the Truth has been twisted with man’s religion and the enemy’s perversion. These are being taught through men of perverse minds – they may be popular, they may be knowledgeable, but they are not of GOD. And the end leads to death. Genesis 2:8-3:15; 1 Timothy 4:1-5.
- Get rid of mixture in your life. Work together with the LORD to pull out the claws of every stubborn thing that has taken root in your life. Ask GOD for full exposure – that HE would demolish and remove the mixture, the evil, the false doctrines.
- Be careful of the end time deception. The LORD showed one who was in prayer something which was wrapping itself around the person in prayer, as if it was warm and comforting. But it was a snake, and the end leads to death (Matthew 24:24-25). Deception renders us powerless. Deception perverts our authority in CHRIST JESUS.
- Be careful to stay grounded in the revealed Truth of the WORD of GOD. For there are many who pervert the Word of GOD for their purposes (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). Even the enemy himself attempted to use the Word of GOD to tempt JESUS. Not everyone who proclaims the Word is from GOD. It is imperative to stay grounded in the revealed Truth of the Word of GOD.
“The unfolding of Your words gives light, giving understanding to the simple.” Psalms 119:130 TLV
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 NKJV
- The LORD is calling HIS people to a greater leaning and dependence on HIM. For those who do so, there will be open doors, exciting and productive times ahead.
- The LORD will seat many of HIS people at the table of HIS choosing. Get ready for positions and promotions you do not qualify for. The LORD who owns all things is qualifying you.
- Voices of resistance will arise, but as time goes on those voices will either get fainter and fainter or not be heard any longer.
- Also, for WeRemnant, there will be redefining or refocusing and/or refining.
To share it accurately yet preserve its meaning only for those that need to hear it, I share it as a parable.
Read 2 Chronicles 22:9-12, 2 Chronicles 23, 2 Kings 11 to fully understand the parable.
Here is my parable.
Oh America, the world will say to you, “The king is dead, he did not live long.” In his place, a queen, the queen-mother, will arise to take his place. She will pursue and destroy your children. But there will be a Remnant who will hide in the house of the LORD until their revealing, and they shall possess the gates.
During the reign of the queen-mother, persecution for the Body of CHRIST will be hotter than ever before. Like corn in a lightly greased pan produces popcorn, so also the sleeping Body shall pop awake, revealing its true potential. The persecution is a setup by GOD to ensure that we wake up in the place of holiness, devotion, separation unto HIM, and prayer.
Until the season of the queen-mother’s reign is cut short by the Remnant, those attempting to resist outside of the Remnant will not be successful.
Nigeria:
“So Judah and Israel lived securely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.” 1 Kings 5:5
The time is coming, Nigeria. Behold, the set time is now, when every man will live securely, and there will be provision from the LORD. In Hebraic times, the vine and fig tree symbolized when things were good, your property would be abundant with vines and figs. It was a phrase indicating solid food security! (Deuteronomy 8:7-10).
Zimbabwe:
- An altar of perversion has been raised in your nation by your leaders. This altar is made up of perverse sexual acts with children. You are already seeing the results of this national demonic altar as your little ones give themselves to alcohol in the streets.
- Repent for the sake of your children – for the sake of your future.
- Raise up in prayer, fasting, and obedience unto KING JESUS so that HE can overturn these altars and give you relief from pharaoh.

“But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, who would betray Him, said, ‘Why was this fragrant oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?’ This he said, not that he cared for the poor, but because he was a thief, and had the money box; and he used to take what was put in it.” John 12:4-6 NKJV
The role of a prophet is to tell the Body of CHRIST what ABBA is doing in this season, and that is the reason for this article.
Until the HOLY SPIRIT revealed this to me with a real-life example, I only saw Judas’ betrayal as the act of selling our LORD JESUS for 30 pieces of silver. But there was more. Judas was a thief in his heart; his actions proved it, yet he was never caught. Rather, he was exposed. In fact, when JESUS was giving out power and authority, Judas got some as well (see Luke 9:1).
Judas is a prime example of how miracles, signs, and wonders alone do not validate a person as a man or woman of GOD. Does the WORD of GOD line up with their teaching or preaching? Does their lifestyle fit the WORD they are speaking? If the answer is “no,” run away; don’t walk.
According to Scripture, Judas, so close to JESUS, saw the LORD, participated in HIS goodness, and yet slapped away HIS hand of love, and said through his actions, “JESUS, YOU are not enough for me.” How rude! How unkind, how unloving, how rude! After JESUS loved on him, taught him, gave him superhuman abilities, gave him access to the Hands and Feet of GOD walking on earth without an appointment.
Others fought through mobs and cried out for mercy such that their bodies were healed, demons left their children, and their family members were raised from the dead. Yet Judas saw all this, participated, but still sold JESUS out for money and the accolades of the chief priests, with the kiss of a friend (see Matthew 26).
What was Judas’ end? He returned the 30 pieces of silver and hung himself. Then the chief priests took the silver and purchased a field for burring strangers, the Field of Blood (see Matthew 27). Basically, there was a coverup. The money was used to do a “good thing” for society.
That game has not changed. Religion will always find a way to cover up its faults by doing the “good thing.”
Why is this important for 2024? Because the revelations of “Judases” within the Church institution will increase at a dramatic rate, and “beloved men and women of god” will be exposed. GOD is making a show if it now and HE does not want HIS children to be caught up in this pattern of coverups.
He who has an ear, let your ears be opened and your eyes be attentive. This will be the pattern for 2024.
Here is a real-life example of Judas in our generation, and the Church institution.
On September 8, 2023, former pastor Gandhi Olaoye was made Soun or king of Ogbomosho in Nigeria. This former pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church in Washington DC, one of the larger church congregations in the USA, left his position of leading the flock of JESUS CHRIST to accept this kingship role. He was officially crowned the traditional king on December 19, after winning legal battles over the legitimacy of his claim (Dada, 2023).
It is claimed that the ancestors and ancient spirits chose him to rule the land through a process of divination within Yoruba religion, called “Ifa” (Wikipedia, 2023). Yes, he was “chosen” by consulting demonic spirits, not the SPIRIT of JESUS CHRIST which is the HOLY SPIRIT.
What was the benefit of taking on this title? Political connections, financial increase, and, of course, benefiting the people of Ogbomosho.
The Bible talks about breaking generational curses in Exodus 20 because the ancestors of non-Jewish people worshiped other gods, ancient spirits. Non-Jews are called “Gentiles” in the Bible. When we accept JESUS CHRIST, we are renouncing these other gods that were worshiped through “traditional worship, cultural practices, etc.” and are clinging onto the LORD JESUS.
“As a dog returns to his own vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.” Proverbs 26:11 NKJV
Olaoye was a pastor and led many churches for more than 20 years. I was not a member. Within those years, he proclaimed JESUS, I assumed he saw answers to prayer, saw people healed, may have even seen people turn from witchcraft or delivered from demonic spirits. Yet, he responded to the “call of his land” by the voice of ancestors, shared with this generation through Ifa divination. Judas, how rude.
Thus says the LORD who made you, who formed you: I took you from nothing and raised you into a great name. Yet you have indeed decided that I AM not enough. Olaoye, you shall surely go the way of Judas. The coverup will not cover up. You shall be an example to many of how the LORD deals with those who betray HIM, that the Fear of the LORD may return to the Church institution.

“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” Revelation 22:12-13 NKJV
Many people forget that JESUS CHRIST is coming back. Either through the rapture, according to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, or if HE waits a little longer, then each of us will meet HIM when we die.
The key is to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant,” according to Matthew 25:23, when HE commends us for living a life worthy of HIS suffering and love sacrifice spent to win us victory over death, hell, and the grave, and restore us back to the FATHER. “Well done, good and faithful servant,” because we used the gifts and talents HE gave us to produce HIS Will on earth as it is in Heaven.
What we do not want to hear is, “Depart from me, I never knew you,” according to Matthew 7:21-23. Or worse yet, to watch those who were faithful to their confession of CHRIST as LORD over their lives, simply float away to Heaven when the Trumpet sounds. Then those who don’t “make it” simply suffer and die at the hand of a merciless devil.
So, the question is, will you hear, “Well done,” or, “Depart from me?” All of us will hear something. We all get to choose here on earth what we will hear on that faithful day. But the choice is not just in words, but in deed as well. Notice JESUS judged the actions, works.
Basically, JESUS is saying: Show ME what you believe by what you do and how you live. Show ME your faith through your works.
“What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” James 2:14-18 NKJV
Take time to ask yourself today: “What are my works saying to JESUS CHRIST about me?”

In times of war, there is uncertainty. In times of uncertainty, those with the loudest voices, most emotional arguments, or most money for lobbyists seem to carry the day, regardless of evidence.
But there is one VOICE, and that is ELOHIM’s VOICE. It may be a still small VOICE to some, but to people like us, intercessors like us, it is the VOICE of life and death.
HIS VOICE is speaking about the war in Israel.
The rocket attacks from Hamas landed in Israel on October 7th and Israel retaliated on the 10th. The VOICE of the LORD spoke to us from the moment Israel fired its shot on the 10th. We are sharing our part of the revelation now because major prophets within the Body have shared their part. As prophetic intercessors, we raise of our sound from the earth to echo what is being said in the Throne Room of ELOHIM – where JESUS the CHRIST sits at the Right Hand of the FATHER.
Our role in not simply to broadcast what the LORD GOD is doing in this season, but to partner with HIM to accomplish HIS perfect will on the earth.
Remember, we all see in part; therefore, it takes the Body of CHRIST to see and obtain all of the counsel of GOD for our generation.
This is what GOD said.
This is the beginning of the end game. Israel will respond with so much force that some Arab nations will respond. The instability in American leadership is part of what these Arab nations (Hamas and their financiers) are counting on.
The world sentiment has moved away from Israel being “GOD’s” country. For church institution christians, pagans (traditional/nature worshipers), muslims, and any other religion, Israel will be hated and seen as evil, representing an evil god. Those Arab nations who will privately and publicly side against Israel now have China and Russia in their corner. Israel is the battle ground where the wrath of satan will be poured out through the nations. Even Saudi Arabia will give asylum to Palestinians.
In a vision, a seer prophet saw an angelic being above the clouds watching over the earth. The sky was so bright, filled with different colors. Meaning, the LORD is watching and keeping count, record, of how the Body of CHRIST and the world at large will respond at this time.
The vision continues to show an enormous bright star, representing the Star of David, representing the Jewish people, and representing JESUS CHRIST (see Revelation 22:16, 1 Chronicles 27:23, Hebrews 11:12, Matthew 2). It was in front of a beautiful mountain – the mountain of GOD (see Exodus 3:1, Psalm 48:1, Hebrews 12:22, Revelation 21:10). Under the star was a vast sea and clouds. It was extremely beautiful. The glory of the LORD.
After this vision left, another began to appear. There were Arabic symbols that became numerals on the massive face of a watch. It was an ancient watch. The watch’s face was circular and laying down on the ground. The hands were about to move – quickly. Time was winding up. It was most definitely in the eleventh hour, almost midnight.
The vision means there is an urgency, and time is winding up on the clock of the earth.
Brothers and sisters, we are in the end game for the return of CHRIST.
In light of these and other revelations, how should the Intercessors within the Body of CHRIST respond?
1. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, the city of GOD.
“Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together, Where the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, To the Testimony of Israel, To give thanks to the name of the Lord. For thrones are set there for judgment, The thrones of the house of David. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.’ For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, ‘Peace be within you.’ Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek your good.” Psalms 122:3-9 NKJV
The Bible is clear. GOD sees that piece of real estate on the earth as HIS. To prove it, JESUS CHRIST came from the Tribe of JUDAH. Judah was the son of Jacob whose name was changed to Israel after an encounter with GOD (see Genesis 32:28). Jacob’s father was Isaac, the child of promise (see Genesis 17:19). Isaac had an older brother, Ishmael, who is the father of all in the Muslim faith (see Genesis 16-17, 25).
When we go back through the family tree, we see that both Jews, Muslims, and all who believe in the LORD JESUS CHRIST are descendants of Abraham. As CHRISTians, you and I are spiritual Israelites by adoption.
“For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” Romans 10:11-13 NKJV
“Jesus said to her, ‘Mary!’ She turned and said to Him, ‘Rabboni!’ (which is to say, Teacher). Jesus said to her, ‘Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, “I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.”’ Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.” John 20:16-18 NKJV
2. Pray for the fighting to end and the LORD provide a peaceful solution for the land. Gaza is small strip of land within Israel. It is not a country of its own. Remember, one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.
3. Pray for our brothers and sisters in CHRIST on all sides. The persecution and suffering are great. Let us not be fooled – believers in CHRIST that have been working the mission field of Arab CHRISTians in Gaza is real.
4. Pray for the church institution and the Body of CHRIST not to allow the devil to divide us by opinion. We must recognize the only VOICE that counts. That is the VOICE of the HOLY SPIRIT as it is written in the Holy Bible.
If we don't pray the right prayers, this will be the beginning of World War 3.

Many Christians today suffer by embracing a lie of the enemy that says you are spiritually irrelevant. Satan has used various means to propagate this, even through some overzealous insensitive pastors. For us to be part of advancing the Kingdom of Heaven on earth, we must see ourselves connected to the agenda and purpose of GOD on earth. This can only be accomplished by HIS SPIRIT. When we received CHRIST as our LORD and GOVERNOR of our hearts, we were commissioned to be carriers of HIS salt and HIS light upon the earth. This commission, enabled by the Power of the SPIRIT of GOD, will never be irrelevant as long as the earth remains because sowing and harvesting will never stop.
In the book of Luke chapter 10, we see a unique scene once again as our Heavenly FATHER always reveals HE has more going on than what meets our eye.
“After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.” Luke 10:1
After JESUS performed the miracle of feeding the 5,000, HE sent out seventy disciples, outside of HIS 12 disciples, to the places HE was intending to visit. The task and responsibility HE gave this is primarily summed up in the following Scripture.
“And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’” Luke 10:9
It is safe to assume that the disciples had never previously healed the sick nor had any possession of “Roman governmental authority” to pronounce the arrival of a new kingdom in Judea. The LORD delegated unto them the authority to do those things while keeping their individual names silent in biblical history. They were sent, having more than what met the conventional eye. The 70 sent by JESUS are similar to the 7,000 that GOD reserved for HIMSELF in the days of Elijah (see 1 Kings 19:18).
We see the reference to 1 Kings made by the apostle Paul in this passage.
“God has not cast away His people whom He fore knew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, ‘Lord,they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life’? But what does the divine response say to him? ‘I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.’ Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.” Romans 11:2-5
When the people of GOD enter into the place of consecration unto HIM, there is avalue placed upon you that cannot be measured in the flesh. The significance of the Remnant of the LORD is that in the eyes of carnal and religious men, you may appear insignificant, but in the eyes of the LORD, you have been entrusted with the very power and authority of the Kingdom.
Today, walk and be counted as part of the continuation of the 70 disciples of the LAMB, choosing to be more than what meets the eye.
“Then one was brought to Him [JESUS] who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.” Matthew 12:22

Scripture is clear that a human being can be possessed or controlled by a demon or evil spirit.
“…they brought to Him [JESUS] all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.” Matthew 4:24b
“For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.” Acts 8:7
Scripture is also clear that the LORD has given us power and authority to drive out demons.
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues” Mark 16:17
To identify signs of demonic activity either in an oppressive or possessive state, we must look at Scripture as the primary identifier, without falling into superstition or human intuition.
We see specific signs of demonic activity identified in the following passage of Scripture.
“Then one of the crowd answered and said, ‘Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. 18 And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.’ 19 He answered him and said, ‘O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to Me.’ 20 Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth. 21 So He asked his father, ‘How long has this been happening to him?’ And he said, ‘From childhood. 22 And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.’ 23 Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’ 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, ‘Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!’ 25 When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, ‘Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!’ 26 Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, ‘He is dead.’ 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.28 And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, ‘Why could we not cast it out?’ 29 So He said to them, ‘This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.’” Mark 9:17-29
From this account found in the book of Mark and other Biblical accounts, we can identify some typical phenomenon that may be observed during a demonic manifestation. These include the following.
Personality Changes
There may be a change of a person’s personality, including:
1. Enhanced intelligence and manipulation.
2. Shifted moral character and behavior.
3. Altered physical appearance.
Physical Changes
There may be physical changes in a person, including:
1. Increased unnatural strength.
2. Epileptic convulsions – for example, foaming at the mouth.
3. Catatonic symptoms – for example, falling suddenly.
4. Clouding of consciousness.
5. Loss of sensation to pain.
6. Changes in voice.
Mental Changes
There may be mental changes to a person, including:
1. Glossolalia or “tongues” (speaking in an unknown language) and understanding or interpretation of this unknown language. This is a fake “gift,” as opposed to the Biblical gift.
2. Unnatural knowledge.
3. Psychic and occult powers, such as:
- Clairvoyance – the power or faculty of discerning objects not present to the senses; the ability to perceive matters beyond the range of ordinary perception.
- Telepathy – communication from one mind to another by extrasensory means.
- Prediction.
Spiritual Changes
There may be spiritual changes to a person, including:
1. Reaction to and fear of CHRIST.
2. Blasphemy with regret, as in depression.
3. Reaction to prayer.
Deliverance is possible in the Name of JESUS, praise GOD.
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8b
“All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.” 1 Corinthians 6:12

Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased mental relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration. It also is called “hypnotherapy.” Hypnosis usually is done with the guidance of a health care provider using verbal repetition and mental images. During hypnosis, most people feel calm and relaxed. Hypnosis typically makes individuals open to suggestions concerning their behavior.
There has been a constant debate in mental health arenas concerning the validity and usefulness of hypnotism. Claims have been made that hypnosis may be helpful for pain control, hot flashes, addictions by behavioral changes, cancer treatment side effects and mental health conditions. Some of the side effects that have been reactions to hypnosis are dizziness, headache, drowsiness, anxiety and sleeping disorders. Some see hypnotism as being not good or bad, while others argue that hypnotism can be beneficial for therapy and diagnosing the root of a particular issue.
Christians must understand the fact that hypnosis, no matter the intentions of the therapist, is an assault on the human mind, an attack on the soul.
The human mind should not be a place where someone should let another person have control of it. The body, including the mind, is part of what we sacrifice unto the LORD, meaning that HE is the owner of it when we become HIS disciple. Paul the Apostle understood this clearly as he communicated this in Romans 12:1-2, where it says:
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
The transformation of the mind is the function of the HOLY SPIRIT. The art or act of suggestion to externally control the mind is a function of unlawful soul realm manipulation, where we often define this as one of the very weapons of witchcraft. As believers, we must engage in wars in various theatres simultaneously through the instruction of the SPIRIT of GOD. This is very clear in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5
This Scripture features items that identify the theatres of war in the mind: arguments concerning the superiority of GOD; the very knowledge of Who GOD is; and the need for all things, especially the process of our mind called “thought,” to be under the subjugation of obedience to CHRIST.
Allowing a hypnotist to subjugate your mind to his suggestion and cognition is allowing your mind to come under the obedience of something or someone else other than CHRIST and HIS supernatural power. Again, the Apostle understood that GOD intends to be glorified through us in both Body and Spirit.
“Everything is permissible for me, but not all things are beneficial. Everything is permissible for me, but I will not be enslaved by anything and brought under its power, allowing it to control me.” 1 Corinthians 6:12 (AMP)
“Look! God is abandoning your house to you, leaving it desolate.” Matthew 23:38 CJB

Desolation. Abandonment. Rejection.
Every single time. Whenever the WORD of GOD recounts the departure of the GLORY or the Presence of the LORD, the result is desolation…abandonment…rejection.
It is very weighty and sobering to even think that the GLORY of the LORD would depart from HIS dwelling place. Why would it event come to this point – where the GOD of Israel HIMSELF would abandon HIS Holy Place?
Let’s examine Ezekiel 8-11, where the prophet Ezekiel is taken in visions to Jerusalem. He experiences, in precision, the progressive departure of the GLORY of the LORD from the Temple in Jerusalem.
· Phase 1: The GLORY is enthroned between the cherubim above the Ark of the Covenant (Ezekiel 8:4).
· Phase 2: The GLORY rises from between the cherub and pauses over the threshold of the Temple (Ezekiel 9:3; Ezekiel 10:4).
· Phase 3: The GLORY leaves the threshold of the Temple and stands over the angels that are standing at the entrance of the East Gate of the Temple (Ezekiel 10:18-19).
· Phase 4: The GLORY of the LORD leaves the city and stands over a mountain east of the city (Ezekiel 11:22-23).
It is a very sad day indeed when the GLORY of the LORD departs. But again, why did it come to this point – why did HIS GLORY leave HIS dwelling place?
Very simply: Idolatry and sin.
“‘And many nations will pass by this city, and every man will say to his neighbor, “Why has the Lord dealt thus with this great city?” 9 And they will answer, “Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God and worshiped other gods and served them.”’” Jeremiah 22:8-9 ESV
GOD’s Holy Place had become unholy. Idolatry had been welcomed into the land, such that it invaded not only the towns and the cities and the countryside of Israel…but even was so bold as to invade the very Temple of GOD HIMSELF.
In Ezekiel 8, we see:
· The “idol that provokes jealousy” was standing at the entrance of the north gate of the Temple, and women were mourning the false god at the entrance.
· Wall paintings of unclean animals and idols were near the entrance to the court of the Temple. In fact, 70 elders / leaders of Israel were offering incense to the idols there!
· In the inner court of the Temple, about 25 men were bowing down to the sun. Not only that…they had turned their backs on the Temple of GOD (literally!) and were bowing to the sun in the east! At the very door of the Temple!!!
“So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.” Ezekiel 8:16
And yet, even with all this idolatry, the departure of the GLORY was progressive…and paused at each phase. What would have happened if there had been true repentance and cleansing at any of these pauses?
You see, this is not something that happens overnight. No – it happens when people, priest, prophet, pastor, leader have rejected the LORD, have betrayed HIM, and have followed other “gods.”
“When they come with their flocks and herds to offer sacrifices to the Lord, they will not find him, because he has withdrawn from them. 7 They have betrayed the honor of the Lord, bearing children that are not his. Now their false religion will devour them along with their wealth.” Hosea 5:6-7 NLT
And, because people, priest, prophet, pastor, leader reject the LORD and engage in willful harlotry (i.e., idolatry), it is then necessary for the GLORY of the LORD to depart for HE must maintain HIS own honor and holiness.
And what follows? Desolation…abandonment…rejection. Every single time.
What has happened to the “Church” today? Generations and generations of false doctrine, the spirit of religion, and spiritual harlotry (i.e., idolatry) have invaded our societies, our churches, our people, priests, prophets, pastors, leaders. How much longer will the LORD have mercy before HE removes HIS GLORY, HIS Presence from among us…with ensuing desolation, abandonment, rejection?
Brothers and sisters, judgement has already started. A brief look at the news will show leaders who have fallen dead for “no reason,” before “their time.” The LORD will not strive with man forever (Genesis 6:3).
Now let’s make it personal. What about us, HIS Body, HIS Temple? Are there areas of your life in which you have set up idols? Are there areas in your life where you continue to engage in rebellion, holding on to the spirit of religion, committing spiritual harlotry (i.e., idolatry)? Is there anything that comes even remotely close to competing with GOD in your life? Does GOD have reason to be jealous?
The time is now to renounce these idols and turn to GOD in full repentance, lest HE remove HIS GLORY.
“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.” 2 Peter 3:9-10 ESV
Today, pray that the HOLY SPIRIT will reveal areas of our lives that are in need of a spiritual cleansing, such that HIS GLORY will remain with us, and HIS Presence will go before us to give us peace, rest, and victory. In JESUS’ Name.

John was the disciple turned apostle, referred to as the “disciple JESUS loved” (John 13:23), who laid his head on JESUS’ chest (John 13:23-25). In writing the book of Revelation, when John saw the same JESUS in HIS natural habitat (John 4:24), the spirit realm, that same John fell down as dead (Revelation 1:17). What did John encounter?
The closest thing we can relate it to is the GLORY. What?! What is that?
Let’s take a look at Ezekiel 1:22-28. These Scriptures are not the only ones describing the GLORY of GOD, but it is so descriptive from the angle of earth-to-heaven through an open vision, that we should be able to relate. For many who work with WeRemnant intercessory team, open visions should be normal to us by now. Remember, the closer we get to JESUS – HOLY SPIRIT – by spirit-physical activities of prayer and fasting, we do the supernatural normally.
“The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out over their heads. 23 And under the firmament their wings spread out straight, one toward another. Each one had two which covered one side, and each one had two which covered the other side of the body. 24 When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army; and when they stood still, they let down their wings. 25 A voice came from above the firmament that was over their heads; whenever they stood, they let down their wings. 26 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like a sapphire stone; on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. 27 Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.” Ezekiel 1:22-28
I encourage everyone to read all of Ezekiel 1. It is so “wow.”
The entire chapter is describing all the four living creatures and the cherubim that surrounded the GLORY of GOD, to the point where they have to cover their faces, their feet, and then fly. They are described as fire and colors and faces and more fire. Our GOD is a consuming FIRE (Hebrews 12:29) and that is consistent across Scripture. All of that had to go on consistently in the Throne Room, and Ezekiel got a peek.
GLORY is “KAVOD” in the Hebrew. KAVOD means heaviness, weight, honor, greatness, honor, splendor, power; and it always has an effect and result. For example, a light breeze is very different from a whirlwind or tornado. The effects are different. Just like a tornado has destructive effects that can be seen, so also when the GLORY of GOD invades, its effects can be seen and are powerful.
The GLORY of GOD is revealed to us in two ways.
“Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, 10 and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity. 11 But on the nobles of the children of Israel He did not lay His hand. So they saw God, and they ate and drank….16 Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel. 18 So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.” Exodus 24:9-11, 16-18

When the GLORY of our GOD rested on Mount Sinai, it was unmissable. There was no ambiguity. It was not drummed up or manmade, emotion driven, or preacher manufactured. Please do not misunderstand – the invasion of the GLORY of GOD is in response to what we, HIS children, do. Israel came to the mountain of GOD (Exodus 19,24). We position ourselves the way HE instructs, and HE responds with HIS GLORY.
Another example is when Solomon dedicated the Temple. The GLORY of GOD so filled the Temple when It entered, that the 120 priests ministering were pretty much kicked out (2 Chronicles 7:1-16). We see this again in one of my favorite Scriptures, when Moses finished the work, that the GLORY of GOD entered the Tabernacle in the wilderness (Exodus 40:33-38). The GLORY kicked him out as well.
The other way the GLORY of GOD is revealed is when people see the effect of the GLORY. When GOD does something only HE can do, people stop and give HIM glory. For example, in Exodus 16:6-7, the Israelites see the GLORY of GOD by what HE does – raining down grain-like wafers from heaven, called “manna.” Even the manna came with instructions!
“Then Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, ’At evening you shall know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt. 7 And in the morning, you shall see the glory of the Lord; for He hears your complaints against the Lord. But what are we, that you complain against us?’” Exodus 16:6-7
Why is this important when praying and fasting – to position ourselves for the GLORY or the glory? The level of GLORY or glory you experience depends on your position.
Moses and the worshiping priests inside the Temple got to experience GLORY. For us, that means those who are ministering directly to GOD, in prayer, fasting, giving, obedience, etc., get to see HIM in HIS GLORY.
The Israelites (church in general) got to see the effects of the GLORY.
Today: Pray for the LORD to prepare each of us to encounter GLORY. John was in the HOLY SPIRIT on the LORD’s day (Revelation 1:10). So pray for the same thing, to enter in the “more” – into more of the GLORY.
Finally, will you come to HIM for HIM…or will you come to HIM for what HE can do for you?
