PAUSE AND THINK

"Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever), ¹⁰ the twenty-four elders fall down and worship the one sitting on the throne (the one who lives forever and ever). And they lay their crowns before the throne and say,

“¹¹ ‘You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and they exist because you created what you pleased.’”

HOLY SPIRIT took me back to this verse.  Before our LORD and SAVIOR, the verse above is taking place right now. Over and over again, the 24 elders lay their crowns down before the Throne, overwhelmed with the Glory of GOD. But HOLY SPIRIT had me pause at this scene as I worshipped also. There are millions of angels worshipping right now, the four living beings are worshipping, and the 24 elders are worshipping…worshipping around HIS Throne.

But what happens when you and I worship? What happens when we really worship and get before HIS Throne? I asked the LORD:

• Do YOU pause all the angels just to hear me?
• Do you pause the 24 elders when our awe-filled, tearful praise comes before YOU?
• Or do YOU not pause them?
• Heaven keeps worshipping…but is it only my voice YOU hear?
• Is it only my voice that resonates, because of the Blood?
• Is it only my voice that makes YOUR Heart race?

JESUS is exalted by the praise and worship around HIM. But none of that praise makes HIS Heart race. None of the praise right now makes HIS Heart swoon.

Brothers and sisters, ask yourself: What does your praise do to our LOVER (your LOVER)?

Does HE pause Heaven just to hear our voice, our praise? Or as all the worship is going on, is it only our voice HE hears? The weight of how much we mean to HIM is overwhelming! Selah (pause and think about this).

“Listen! I hear my lover’s voice. I know it’s him coming to me—leaping with joy over mountains, skipping in love over the hills that separate us, to come to me.” Song of Solomon 2:8 TPT

I leave you with this picture: Only JESUS will leap over mountains and skip over hills to get to you. Only JESUS.
