Today I woke up and pondered on various life things. Specifically, it is inevitable that new things must consistently happen in order for GOD’s Glory to be manifested in our lives.

Today, CHRISTianity in its many forms and denominations is plagued with man’s adherence to traditions and dogmatic doctrines. The spirit of religion continues to thrive, being fed in a gluttonous manner by so-called “christians.” The institutionalized church is losing touch with the inevitable: The younger generation is not buying into legacy church, joining churches, giving blindly and multi-day weekly in-person lecture meetings.

The SPIRIT of the LORD spoke to me concerning this and said that HIS people must move into heavy desire for the encounter of the new, a fresh manifestation of HIS Presence. It isn’t just a generational change or a result of a disease; it is a result of GOD wanting to release something new in our lives in order to fulfill prophetic words in an everlasting manner.

The national prophet of Israel, Isaiah, delivered the following prophetic proclamation:

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 KJV

From a narrow perspective, this prophetic proclamation was speaking on the deliverance of Israel from Babylon as well as the arrival of the MESSIAH. In a broader sense, this Scripture is prophetically speaking on GOD’s desire to change impossible or problematic situations quickly, where it can only be known that it is HIM.

CHRISTians struggle to walk in the power of their newness because of the lack of knowing HIM in and through HIS Power.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6 KJV‍

This wasn’t dependent on generational identity or traditional views; it was a result of the people not knowing the new thing of the LORD and thus walking in spiritual ignorance.

This spiritual ignorance today is supported by blind eyes where we cannot see the work of GOD, limiting HIS activity to be present solely in GOD situations. It is manifested by:

-A deaf and dumb spirit where we cannot hear what the SPIRIT is saying to the Church today.

-A lack of appropriate men and women who speak the truth properly, due to being content with a spiritual identity that isn’t organic.

-Not growing with the move of the SPIRIT but becoming stagnant over time. 

Spiritual ignorance is fueled by picky tasting.

“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.” Psalm 34:8 KJV

Picky tasting is our desire to hold what is defined for our good. Spiritual ignorance wants one to bind the working of GOD’s Grace. HE desires us to trust HIM in all things…the good and the bad, as well as the “yes” and the “no” answer.

The newness of GOD is an everlasting decree found in the work of JESUS CHRIST. HE is continuously establishing and seeking new ways to reveal HIS Glory in our lives. HE is committed to filling us with the safety of sonship as HE is our fulfillment of knowledge.

“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. ⁶ And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.⁷ He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.” Revelation 21:5-7 KJV

The new of the SPIRIT of GOD is to be activated in you as a son of the Living GOD. You cannot live in the anointing or even the blessing of yesterday. Adapt to the new move of GOD; it is happening whether you want to go or not. HE is doing a new thing such that HIS Glory can penetrate and be revealed even in the dark places of our modern Babylon state.

HE has started the new thing; do you know it yet?
