Are we, as JESUS-loving parents, partnering with satan to fill the minds of our children with unholy imaginations?

I had the opportunity to babysit two little children recently. As I made their bottles, I turned on Sesame Street. Now, when my children were younger many years ago, this popular television show was relatively clean and very educational. So, being a babysitter for the day, I turned it on.

To my shock and dismay, Sesame Street was teaching the little children yoga poses, along with the animal each pose represents. Yoga is a demonic religion, adopted by the secular Western culture. Don’t believe me? Simply do a search with the phrase “what is the origin of yoga.” Here is a head start.

The Bible clearly tells us that our imaginations must be holy. Our thought life is where the battle for holy and unholy live. Every action begins as a thought first. This is why 2 Corinthians10:4-5 tells us:

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God tothe pulling down of strong holds; 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Our imaginations open and shut doors. Demonic agreements originate in the mind. With that said, what are we opening our children to when we allow them to imagine unholy things, such as households with two fathers or two mothers portrayed on television programs?

What actions will be produced from such imaginations?

Have you noticed that many of the young Disney stars grow up to live un-JESUS, unbiblical lifestyles? Whatever is pushed into the imagination of children will manifest in their adult life.

Do your children or grandchildren have nightmares? Could it be the evil their eyes see in the day manifests itself in its true form in the night?

Prayer and action:

·        Repent (ask for forgiveness and change your mind) for agreeing with satan and his demonic fairytales that we have partnered with to expose our children to and taint their imagination away from GOD into the demonic.

·        Be vigilant to see what your children / grandchildren are watching andexposed to. Begin to actively speak against, turn off, and explain why specific shows are unholy and unclean.

·        Replace these imaginations with holy ones. Teach your children how to read the Holy Bible and imagine the words on the pages. Fill their thoughts with JESUS as their superhero; HE dives in to save the day, just like HE saved the leper or the Samaritan woman.
