Last week, I started off our discussion on Christian Witchcraft with an apology from me as a prophet on behalf of other ministers of the GOD News of JESUS CHRIST.

‍

I continue this week with that apology. Again, I am sorry we didn’t demonstrate the Power of GOD unto salvation (total healing, deliverance from sin and continued sin cycles, unhealthy lifestyles and anything else that troubles a young person’s spirit/soul/body).

‍

To make this right, let’s talk about how Christian Witchcraft gained an entry point into Bible-believing homes, churches, and communities around the United States.

‍

The devil targeted the youth and gained much ground.  

‍

As church kids grew up, they hid their struggles with gender identity, sexuality, addictions, and much more from their youth pastors/leaders, parents, and church family. They felt left out, forgotten by GOD and very alone.

‍

Many grew into their teens struggling silently, before they went off to college and obtained their“ freedom.” For them, church was the place to perform and behave, and a place not to embarrass your parents.

‍

For church leaders who couldn’t see past the polite smiles, church attendance was the only measure of a young person’s spiritual growth. Many leaders didn’t bother to ask the HOLY SPIRIT to reveal what was going on underneath the well-dressed, beautiful lie many young people live.

‍

We didn’t use the gift of discerning of spirits that the HOLY SPIRIT makes so readily available.

‍

This created the perfect breading ground for the devil to move in.

‍

The dead, not HOLY SPIRIT-lead church is the perfect breeding ground for Christian Witchcraft members.

‍

As we discussed in Christian Witchcraft and Millennials Part 1: What Is It?, the deception mixes a form of “jesus” or “god” with other religions, promising that the deceived can keep their salvation (whatever that means) and still have power, peace, prosperity, and all the passions of the flesh…”jesus” without holiness.

‍

New Ageism, crystal washing, and sage burning all fall into this category. It’s all evil before the LORD.

‍

But there is hope! Please watch the testimony video of a Christian child who got into Christian Witchcraft and was saved by JESUS CHRIST.

‍

What do we do about it?

‍

1.    Repent: Let us (parents and ministers alike) ask GOD for forgiveness for any areas where we failed our children and youth members. There are many ways this could have happened.  

Let me be honest –there is no shame in my game. I have prayed this prayer many times: “LORD forgive me for any area where I have broken my kids.” It works and it sets the tone for deliverance and restoration, so it is very worth it. Read Psalm 51.  

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—These, O God, You will not despise.” Psalm 51:17

2.    Forgive: Forgive your children and those under your care for not telling you the truth, for not trusting you enough to just come out and say it like they feel it. Forgive young people for expecting us adults to be perfect. Let it go, where they have offended you knowingly or unknowingly.

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. ”Matthew 6:14 

‍

Then, ask GOD to forgive them. See what Job did, pre-CHRIST in the flesh, for his children. We need do the same thing. Ask GOD to forgive them.  

‍

“So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said,‘ It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.’ Thus Job did regularly.” Job 1:5 

‍

“So Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.’ 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.’ ”John 20:21-23

3.    Restore: Call them home. Begin to pray for them, that GOD would visit them, encounter them, and turn them around. Below is a video of GOD restoring a son back to his mother. One of my favorite Scriptures is  Isaiah 49:24-25. Take time to beg into pray for GOD to restore your children and the young people in this generation back to HIMSELF.

“Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered?

25 But thus says the Lord: ’Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away,

‍

And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you,

‍

And I will save your children.’’

‍

4.    Rebuild: If you are in a church that does not believe in the HOLY SPIRIT, does not use the Name of JESUS CHRIST in their preaching, or does not have a vibrant youth pastor who applies the Word of GOD in the Holy Bible with every day, real life struggles of young people and teens today, get up and leave.  

You will save yourself tons of heartache and pain later on in life. Check out ministries online first to see what they believe. Look for places that believe that miracles are for today, and the only way to Heaven is through JESUS CHRIST. The power for us to live holy, healthy lives is through the HOLY SPIRIT.
